Consumer Health Data Policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
The short version
- We never ask for health information. You decide what you write.
- Anything about your health is used only to show it back to you.
- We never sell it or share it for advertising, and you can delete it at any time.
This policy is for people in US states with consumer health data laws, such as Washington (My Health My Data Act) and Nevada. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
What health data could be in Sortfold
Only what you choose to enter: for example a habit such as “take my medicine” or “walk”, or a journal entry about how you feel. We do not collect health data from any other source.
Why we have it
Only to store it and show it back to you, which is the service you asked for. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or anything else.
Who we share it with
Nobody, and we never sell it. The only companies that handle it are the providers that store it for us: Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database). Journal text is encrypted before it reaches them.
Your rights
- Ask whether we hold your health data, and get a copy and the list of who handles it.
- Withdraw your consent, and delete it at any time (Settings, then Delete everything).
